THE FOLLOWING IS A POSTING FOR A PAST POSITION AND IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY

The North Regional Coordinator will be responsible for OTI's  portfolio in the North. This will include all aspects of Office of Transition Initiative's  programs, such as coalition-building for reform, media and social  communications, civil/military affairs, etc.  He/she will work in  close collaboration with USAID's Implementing Partners, to  achieve an effective mutual reinforcement of current  USAID/Nigeria and new OTI activities.

The candidate should have academic and field experience related  to one of the social sciences, be an effective community  organizer, a good listener, and have the ability to interact  effectively with the diverse Northern populations and their  leadership.
